7amad’s P.O.V.

I got home and every one was there. I greated them then went to change. 6ela3t bara3 cause my cousins and brothers were there. I was walking when I heard a screamthen I felt some one grabbed my arm.

Ro’6ah: 7amad chase it away.

7amad: chase what away.

Ro’9ah: that (pointing at a cat)

7amadan carried the cat and got closer to her. she tightened her grip on me.

Ro’6ah: 7amad!!!!

7amad: t5afain.

She nodded. I pulled my arm away, grabbed the cat min ead 7amdan. Before he could escapei grabbed his shirt and threw the cat in it.

7amad: 5ala9 in7alat il mishkelah.

7amdan: allah y’3arbilk ya 7ayawaan 6ale3ha.

Ro’6ah: thanks 7amoody.

I went to my room with her voice ringing in my head “7amoody”.i turned on the TV and settled for the first movie I found knowing that my mind isn’t with me. Soon enough everyone joined me. Ro’6ah was the last one to appear. She directly came and sat beside me. I moved a little so she would get comfortable but all she did was move closer than before.

This doesn’t mean anything. I kept repeating to my self and trying to watch the movie but her closeness was way over distracting. A while later we got called out. I stayed away from her as much as possible. Even though the guys voices were loud and they’re actions would cause you to want to look at them, I noticed everymovement that she did. She got up to answer her phone. 15 minutes later dinner was ready and ro’6ah still didn’t show up so I went to call her.

Ro’6ah: (on the phone) 7awalt kilshay 7amad isn’t interested in me and I have to live with it.

I froze trying to comprehend what I just heard. Have I been that blind?

Ro’6ah: I can’t tell him. If he rejects me Kaif bag3ad ma3ahom everything will change…… I got to go 9arly ni9 sa3a akalmich.bye.

She turned and as soonas she saw me she loked at the ground.

7amad: ro’6ah….

Ro’6ah: you heard.

7amad: yeah and…

Ro’6ah: its okay I get im not the one for you.

7amad: listen its not…

7amdan: (shouting) yallah ta3alow

She walked away and I followed. She sat down not really wanting to. I grabbed my keys and wallet and walked away.

I drove off. Going in circles for hours thinking of what happened. Na9oor was right I wouldn’t have lost anything if I did and because I closed my mouth I lost everything.

When I got back home everyone had left.i went to my room, locked the door, switched my phone off and went to sleep.

(Next morning)

7amad: ma aba go away.

All through the day they kept trying to get me out. When it was around 7 I got out grabbed

A toweltook a bath then left the house. I came back around 3, hoping that everyone is asleep.

i didn’t answer. I just walked away to my roomclosed the door jumped on my bed and fell asleep.

After what seemed like endless fighting got up washed my face and went down. I didn’t really feel like eatin. I was moving the food around my plate. That’s it after one day of thinking I decided.
