unpredictable (9)

Asma: it's obvious ليش مستغربين؟ يعني

Farah: ... لا بس

Faisal: how did you know?

Asma: well I see the pictures on Instagram, yeah Farah was trying to be smart and not tag you but come on it wasn't that hard. Then the breakfast thing, and you kinda stare a lot, at first I thought you were looking at my chest then came to realize the necklace, that's what caught your attention. and

Faisal: enough... ليش ما قلتي شي ليش ساكته ما تدرين

Asma interrupted him with a laugh.

Asma: I don't know what? are you really that delusional? thinking that once I realize ill just go back to being okay. honestly, I should be the one asking why haven't you said anything to me, and you Farah how could you?

Farah: We were thinking of how to tell you, we didn't want to add unnecessary stress.

Asma: aha, oh well. I'd appreciate it if you take me to my parents now, Faisal -looking at him kind of apologetically- I'm not the same person you walked away from.

Farah: Asma you're being...

Faisal: Farah let her be. ان شاء الله الصبح نوديج عن اذنكم

He smiled at asma and walked out, giving her all the space she needs.

Farah ...

Farah: I can't believe you talked to him that away, after all he's done for you.

Asma: what has he done except leave without a trace, without a goodbye.

Farah: you don't get it do you. the only thing that he's been so focused on for years is you. When he knew I was your cousin his face lit up because he was able to check on you through me. He always made sure to send you birthday gift along with mine, he made sure to asks about you before he sleeps, he

Asma: I don't want to hear it

Farah: he's in love with you.

Faisal ...

I don't even know where I want to go.  Maybe the idea of me and her is so far fetched. AHH! im lost. only one person can help me with this, the only other person that knows her better than i do.

losing himself in deeper thoughts, he drove to the only solution he seemed to have found full of hope thinking its his last chance.

unpredictable 1 through 8?

So as I said to you readers I will go in with the last story I started and since it has been a while I have edited some parts and posted it all into one post (this one). Since I haven’t writer anything for a while I’m a little rusty and will start with a post a week then try to pick the pace as I move on. I hope you enjoy this

Asma, she’s kind, loving, caring, smart, outgoing, confident, beautiful, yet simple young lady. Was she always this way? No not really. She changed, because he caused her to. If only he kept his promise. She was all that was listed but not out going, she was a very shy person, she didn’t have what it took to trust people, but to her he was different, she grew up with him. Every step she took he was there to hold her hands. But he left, promising to come back. When he didn’t she was devastated, broken, and lost. After that she learned to depend on herself, she opened up more to people but not to the extent to complete trust. Eventually she did. Ask her family she turned into a new and different person.

Ahmed, he’s your usual guy in the hot list, nothing much to say about him. The one thing that changed him or should I say person, was Asma. He approached hoping for something but got nothing. She made it clear she doesn’t work with relations, but he was stubborn, still is. He was determined to get her, he kept trying but he got the same answer. This drove him wild, he wanted her, not for her looks, but because she earned his respect. Three years were a long time for him, he was happy, he was ready, and in his opinion, he earned it. He asked for her the right way, the only way that this can be done with, he asked for her hand in marriage. When it was time he got his answer, he wasn’t happy. Rage and hatred filled his heart. He wanted revenge. Being him, he didn’t want it simple, it must leave a mark. He planned and put it in action. In his words if I don’t get her no one would.

Asma: Ahmed please... please stop I can’t take it anymore.
Ahmed: You deserve it. You know how long I waited for you, 3 fucked up years. You refused to have anything to do with me, so I waited 3 long years, just for you, and when I do what you asked for, what you wanted, you say no.
Asma: I never told you to come propose. I said I wasn’t interested, I love him.

She got slapped for that, and that was the least painful kind of abuse she got these past 2 days.

Ahmed: Tell me, where is he? If you love him shouldn’t he be here. If you think that then get back to reality he isn’t. He left you when you were kids. Remember?
Asma: I don’t care what you do to me just leave them out of it.
Ahmed: She’s my fiancée now I do what I want with her and besides she asks for it like the slut she is, and he brought this on himself. He should have never tried to help you.
Asma: What would you get out of this?
Ahmed: Simple, I’ll bring disgrace to your family.
Asma: You won’t.
Ahmed: I will. The pictures will be sent to every single person in the country.
Asma: Why? What did I do?
Ahmed: I don’t get you no one will.

Elsewhere…
Faisal: I'm glad you guys talked me into coming here.
Mona: Thank god.
Fahad: Wait up Mona there’s a “but”.
Faisal: Yes, there is.
Farah: It’s her isn’t it?
Faisal: I just… it’s been almost 18 years and I still can’t forget about her.
Fahad: You did this to yourself.
Mona: You had the choice. And you chose to stay away.
Farah: Guys you don’t have to make him feel bad more than he already is.
Faisal: Let them, I deserve it.
Farah: If you say so?
Faisal: Do you guys think she remembers me?
Farah: Well….
Faisal: No, we don’t think so. It’s been almost 18 years you said so yourself, if you stayed in contact with her then maybe, but right now the answer is no.
Mona: You could go to her you know.
Faisal: Farah, why did your facial expression change all of a sudden?
Farah: Nothing.
Faisal: What happened?

Normally Farah wouldn’t have answered, but in this case, there was no other way. For her being asma’s cousin she was the only connection Faisal had to his childhood best friend which he began to fall in love with during these long 18 years.

Farah: She’s……
Faisal: WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER?!
Farah: They don’t know where she is. It’s been 2 days and they haven’t found her.

Faisal as mentioned above was and he still considers himself asma’s best friend. When he was 12 (she was 11) he had to leave. He knew he would hurt her, so he kept it to himself. During these 18 years he worked hard, graduated as a med student, found a great job that he likes, but there was someone missing. During these 18 years he fell unconditionally in love with the friend he had to leave, and because of that there was constant worrying, thinking, tiredness, loss of appetite and long sleepless nights. As he was a student he met Farah, Mona and Fahad. Surprisingly they ended up working together.

Farah is a sweet and kind girl, always wishing the best for everyone around her. She is very pretty but she always disagreed, especially if other girls where around. She was faisal’s first friend, it wasn’t after a couple of years that he’d found out she was related to Asma. After she found out that faisal is serious about what he told her she decided to help.
As for Fahad and Mona, well, they are one crazy couple. No one has expected that after years of continues bickering those two would end up getting married.

Farah: Faisal wait. Where are you going?
Faisal: Do I look like I know where I'm going?
Farah: Calm down.

She pulled him for a hug as they slowly sank to the sand underneath. That was faisal when it came to Asma he was the weakest person on earth. He constantly blamed himself for anything that happened to her, but it never got to the extent where he had to shed tears.
2 days, 2 days, anything could have happened to her, she might be….

Farah: She’s fine. Asma’s a strong girl.
Fahad: It’ll be okay.
Mona: We’re here for you.

Faisal got up and walked inside. He rushed to his room and into the shower. Even the warm water running down his masculine figure couldn’t relax his tense body. He hoped, wished, and even promised that he won’t let go of her anymore, he wanted her back, and this time to him.

Fahad: We need to do something.
Mona: I’ve never seen him cry. It was so devastating.
Farah: He’s coming. what do you want to eat its getting somehow late?
Faisal: Doesn’t matter I'm not even hungry.

He walked out the screen door. When he reached the water he sat down, wanting to think, wanting to be alone, as in away from his friends but close with the one person on his mind.
His friends kept staring at him feeling sorry. They wanted him to feel better to forget but no matter how hard they tried they never succeeded.
Soon they got tired of waiting and each left to his bed. Fai9al just stared at the water. He didn’t consider running through his thoughts because they will only bring pain to him.
It was past midnight with him still sitting there, in what any person might describe as peace.
I wonder if she still has the necklace I gave her
That thought was disturbed as he heard the engine of a motorbike getting near. He looked at it as it came to near stop beside his beach house dropping something and then driving off. If it was any other day he would have gotten into a fight with that guy. He got up wanting to know what was dropped. As he got closer he noticed it was a girl, she had her hands and feet bounded together and was gagged. The shirt she had on, revealing more than what she should show, was barley and improperly buttoned, the wounds still bleeding and the bruises as blue as the sea. He tried getting closer to her, but she only screamed, well at least tried to.

Faisal: I won’t do anything.

She tried crossing her legs and hiding her breasts with her hands. Fear filling those tearing eyes, and that’s what caught him of guard he recognized those eyes, but with all the panic he was in, his memory couldn’t help.

Faisal: I’m a doctor, calm down. I’ll take you in and let the girls treat you.

She went quite; he slowly got near her, leaned down and then scooped her off the sand. At that moment he wished he was anywhere but here. Those eyes he knew them, but when he saw the necklace he was sure that it was her.

He started walking to the door, looking straight ahead. He took her to his room and placed her on the bed gently covering her with the blanket.

Faisal: The girls will be right here. I’ll just call them; they’ll take good care of you.

He leaned down making her get scared. His hands moved behind her head untying the gag, he hoped that she would say something for he had missed her voice so much and is longing to hear it. She nodded and that was it. He left the room disappointed.

Faisal: Farah, farah wake up I found her and she’s not okay she needs to be treated right away.

As soon as those words where said, farah was out of the room in the matter of seconds. Soon enough Mona was in there with her. Fahad stayed with faisal trying to calm him down, but he knew that deep down that won’t be possible not now, not after what he witnessed.
Farah: It’s okay Asma, I'm here for you.

Mona: Come on. We need to get you washed up before we treat those wounds.

She slowly walked to the bathroom using her cousin and Mona as support. They stripped her down and made her sit still as they slowly cleaned her body with a wet cloth knowing that it will only hurt her more if she was under the shower. After that they cleaned her wounds, bandaged them after needing to stitch a couple.

Farah: Asma we need to call him in he knows how to treat burns more than us.

She almost trembled with fears as she heard those words.

Farah: We will both be here with you, and besides we trust him he won’t do anything to harm you.

It took a little convincing but eventually she agreed. Farah gave her some clothing she could put on to cover herself. Even though she didn’t like sitting there shirtless with him and the girls, she knew it was the only way.
Farah was covering up her front as faisal examined the burn on her back. He gave Mona a tube of some kind of lotion to apply and gave her instructions on how to lessen the inflammation then he left without a word.

Asma: Farah…

He froze outside the door for a second and then quickly got out of site.

Fahad: It’s almost 5 go to sleep.
Faisal: I can’t.

Asma

I opened my eyes slowly as I remembered what happened. I turned my head to the right and I saw him, upper body revealed with only a towel covering his lower parts. I was going to scream but quickly covered my mouth as I noticed the water droplets running down his shoulders from his hair.
Faisal: I'm sorry I just came to get my clothes didn’t mean to wake you up.

I wanted to say something but closed my mouth. Could it get more embarrassing?

Faisal: It’s okay I get it. How about we change the mood a bit, care to join me for breakfast?

I looked away without answering him because I couldn’t. He took his clothes and walked out.

Faisal

I didn’t mean to freak her out. I should have taken my clothes before I went to take a shower. I know she won’t come for breakfast with me. I prepared a pretty much decent breakfast in bed meal for her.

Faisal: -clearing his throat-
Asma: Huh?
Faisal: May I come in?
Asma: Yeah sure it is your room after all.
Faisal: I got you breakfast. You must be hungry.
Asma: Thank you.
Fai9al: Any time.
He just sat there and stared at her face. He misses starting at those wonderful eyes, amazing smile….
Asma: Do you want some?
Faisal: No, I already ate.

Faisal: I don’t mean to umm… if you need to talk to anyone we’re all here. Think about it, it might help.
Asma: Okay.
Faisal: If you need anything call on me or any of the girls.

She nodded before he left. As much as he wanted to stay he knew she needed her space. He just wished he could tell her, but it’s too late and too early now.
Faisal: Farah… farah!!!
Farah: What? Why are you yelling at this time of the morning??
Faisal: You know exactly what I want.
Farah: For real??
Faisal: Well she saw me half naked when I was getting my clothes
Farah: The girl is traumatized she doesn’t need more, and We. Are. Supposed. To. Be. Helping. Her. (She was poking him with every word)
Faisal: Ouch. Oh, and I made her breakfast. Her favorite, well if it still is and I just sat there
Farah: You haven't told her, right?
Faisal: I can't
Farah: I’ll go to her

Farah
Farah: Asma... you are so into what you're eating
Asma: it's my favorite.
Farah: he was right It’s his way of saying sorry he didn't mean to freak you out
Asma: -turning red- Thank him for me please
Farah : Would you let go of that necklace you were clutching it even in your sleep
Asma : It makes me feel comfortable
Farah : You did say someone special gave it to you
Asma: Faisal
Farah: Who??
Asma: You know from when I was a kid he send this the day he left and it’s been 18 years since I last saw him.
Farah: Your eyes sparkled
Asma: I know it might sound stupid, but I think I love him
Farah: Have you tried to contact him?
Asma: He hasn’t so I got scared of doing that
Farah: Don’t give up, always hope. Im sure he's out there waiting for you
Asma: I wish he would hurry and show up.
I just smiled making a mental note to talk to him

Faisal

Faisal: why can’t I go?
Mona: Because.
Fahad: She needs her space
Farah: Guys?
Faisal: Farah, can I go to her? They aren’t letting me
Farah: Well she went to sleep after I changed her bandages
Faisal: oh...
Mona: We have to find a way to get him to calm down or else he has to leave.
Farah: Maybe we just need her to know who he is and well I think I figured out how. We can get her to know it’s you, using the keychain
Fahad: how would that help it’s not like she knows he has it
Farah: That’s all we have to do. Make her know.
Faisal: use it as bait?
Mona: you guys realize there is a really bad side to all this she might get mad at you and the shock would be too much.
Faisal: it’s a risk im willing to take.
Asma: Hey
Faisal: Hi im sorry didn’t mean to wake you up
Asma: It’s okay I slept more than enough.
Faisal: You can leave the room you know you aren’t obligated to trap yourself here.
Asma: Maybe I will
Faisal: great, see you around.

Faisal: farah I think the best thing is for me and you to just tell her explain things maybe… I just don’t want to shock he with her seeing the keychain and you know
Farah: im not really sure that’s the best thing to do, neither thing shes just…
Asma: you don’t need to whisper about me farah, faisal
-->
They both just stayed starring at her slightly shocked. Up till now no one mentioned faisal’s name to her, yet…..
